Who we are

Energising Development (EnDev) is a global programme funded by the governments of the Netherlands, Germany, Norway and Switzerland. EnDev works for energy access in more than 20 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

By end of 2021, EnDev globally supported 25.8 million people to have access to electricity or improved cooking technologies; 81,700 micro, small and medium enterprises and 31,900 people have additional employment. Thanks to EnDev's interventions, greenhouse gas emissions were reduced by more than 2.4 million tonnes per year.

Bolivia is one of the countries where EnDev is implemented through GIZ, benefiting more than one million people with energy access throughout the country.
