EnDev Bolivia and the Ministry of Energy have a national agreement to continue with the partial co-financing of rural and periurban electrical connections to the main grid. This agreement is aimed to facilitate access to electricity services through economic incentives for households with scarce resources and for social infrastructures; this is implemented via the companies and cooperatives in charge of the distribution of electricity. In order to receive support, the households and social infrastructures that were not connected to the system for economic reasons, need to be near the distribution grid. The subsidy is intended to cover part of the cost of the electric meter or the materials required for the connection. For more information, click below on the technology you are interested in.
