EnDev Bolivia works with two types of stoves: fixed and portable. Both designs were developed by EnDev Bolivia and can save between 35 and 50% of firewood. These technologies were created because 70% of the Bolivian population still uses biomass for cooking in traditional stoves. The use of traditional stoves causes respiratory problems, mainly in women as they spend more time cooking. Thanks to the design of these improved stoves, both indoor air pollution and the amount of fuel needed can be reduced. For more information, click below on the technology you are interested in.
